I received a report that set_decimal() doesn't work as expected in PyGreSQL 4.0: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=719093 The example looks to me like it ought to work as the complainant expects, and I'm not enough of a Python hacker to figure out why it doesn't.
