[PyGreSQL] general development environment question

just a quick short question: is there anything like cvs access other than
via viewcvs?  read-only would be enough.  or most recent midnight tar.gz.

connected to this is "on what should I base my own version of the
library?"...  now I'm basing it on the released versions, but what I
would like is really to follow the development a lot more closely.
