One thing I would like to see in a future version is support of the 
SQLSTATE error codes. But since it is probably not so easy to do this 
without breaking anything, I think this should be done sometime after 
version 3.8.

For version 3.8, I'm trying to add Windows support to setup.py and the 
installation instructions this weekend.
