Yes, I understand completely.  I didn't get the impression that you found 
it controversial, either.  I just thought that my suggestion was to go to 
the list for discussion, in case anybody *else* had an opinion (or 
objection) about it.  For example, a better way to do it than what I'd 
suggested.
